Quansheng UV-K5(8) Experimenters night at NARC!
The Quansheng UV-K5(8) (or UV-K58/UV-K6) is a relatively low cost dual-band handheld amateur radio (VHF/UHF) known for its extensive features, broad receiving capabilities thanks to lots of clever firmware updates which amateurs around the world have written and made freely available.
Do you have one of these and programmed it with new firmware to extend its operating frequencies, added spectrum scope etc? Or are you interested in doing so?
