Following a review of club finances with the Treasurer at a meeting on October 22nd, the committee has decided that the NARC annual membership will remain at £10 for 2027. This is in primarily in recognition of a successful Barford Radio Rally in July and a strong membership, which means we can help cover the running costs of the club between a lot of people.
In addition, we would also like to reward existing members who have loyally supported the club and its fund raising activities during the past year, so the committee has endorsed an early bird £5 discount offer to existing members of NARC so that subs for 2027, providing renewal is paid by 31st December 2026, will be just £5! This rewards and encourages existing members to pay early so that we can start the new year with strong funds and minimal chasing of membership renewals.
2027 Membership payments made after 1st January 2027 will be £10 for both new and renewing members.
To renew your existing NARC membership:
• BAC’s (preferred): Account name: Norfolk Amateur Radio Club: Account 31432222: Sort code 40-20-08
Be sure to use your Callsign+Subs (or Surname+Subs) as reference on your BACs payment so that we allocate it to you!
• Cash: Either in an envelope with your first name and callsign on the envelope, or give it to the canteen
Please note that the above £5 renewal only applies to members renewing and we already have their details.
However we always welcome new members to join us anytime, so if you would like to join us now the £10 membership will cover you for membership until 31st December 2027, including the balance of 2026. Please contact us for a membership form.
Thank you
