After a long pause I am pleased to confirm that NARC now has two Lead Instructors to work with me to plan and deliver training for license exams. Following my appeal last year, Nick M0HGU and Donard G3KRK volunteered their service and I am very grateful for the experience and commitment they will bring to this important role. Other instructors will also assist in delivering courses, but as the Leads Donard and Nick will oversee and assure the continuity, quality and completeness of each course.
As there is so much support for online learning for the Foundation license exam, the training teams focus will be on Intermediate and Full license courses and as promised some time ago our next course will be a Full license course and we hope to run this soon, starting before summer 2026!
The course will be run over 7 Saturdays (6 + 1 revision) and is open to anyone, although NARC members will have priority places if we are oversubscribed. Although 7 days may sound a lot, the Full License Syllabus is extensive and so will be quite intense and require every student to do considerable self study at home in addition to what we do in the classroom.
I cannot give specific details of the course cost or venue yet because I do not know how many people will attend, so if you are interested in this course please email me NOW so that I can complete planning and issue more details to those who have registered their interest.
It is important to mention here that we will only be running a Full license course once every two years at most, so if you have been waiting for a course to take your Full license exam please take this opportunity and share details with any friends and colleagues in other clubs too.
