Although there are no Wednesday meetings at the school or online on Christmas Eve or New Years Eve, there are several other activities going on;

Steve G3EVA plans to run the NARC Monday night net on both December 29th and January 5th, all on GB3NB repeater at 19.30 and there will also be a GB2RS News on Sunday December 28th at 19.00, also on GB3NB.

Roger G3LDI plans to run his CW courses as usual (see his news item) and there will be various other nets and ragchews about too as well as propagation and contest updates.

The regular NARC Wednesday activities start back on January 7th with NARC Live and a talk from Cezar VE2LYC about the imminent Bouvet Island DXpedition which NARC has financially supported. As always pictures, news and stories are welcome to Tammy and David emailed to radio@dcpmicro.com please.

Seasons Greetings

I have received some messages and cards specifically asking me to pass greetings to NARC members from several people including Arno Herz from Koblenz , Tom G6TOM, Steve M7CNI, David M0WEL and Judi Howett, wife of the late Chris G4ILR who we sent a NARC Christmas card to.

Steve M7CNI has now had his long awaited leg operation and so is resting at home, but extends a warm invitation for any amateur to visit him and his wife Debbie at his home in Erpingham. His email address is on QRZ and his mobile number is 07918 687364.

They’re lighting up the skies…

James M0UKS and Lyn have their wonderful home made display of over 15000 LED’s entertaining every evening and all being controlled by a Raspberry Pi! Full shows with music are on every day on the hour from dark, with the last show at 8pm (unless you knock and ask nicely or hack his Raspberry Pi!) and you can get the full address by searching for M0UKS on QRZ.

Happy Christmas!

This is the last newsletter before Christmas, so David G7URP & Tammy M0TC wishing you a very Merry Christmas.
