Five Teams set out from Thorpe Recreation Ground to try and find the Tornado Team fox hidden somewhere in Norfolk. The fox was at Heathlands Social Club car park in Blofield Heath and not only did every team find them before 21.30 but also every team used traditional direction finding equipment like the NARC DF100, no doppler or other complex system.
The winning team was The Bitterners locating them in 6.8 miles, followed by Wrong Direction with 8.0 miles, Destruction Crew in 9.0 miles, Double Trouble in 13.2 miles and Meandering in 21.1 miles.
We all went to the Fur & Feathers after the successful hunt.

Of course the Trophy Foxhunt won’t be quite as easy on July 27th (and theres an extra Summer Sunday Fun Hunt on August 23rd which promises to be fun, though you do not have to bring a Canoe or a Fork!)
