Fancy getting involved with Broadcast radio?

Future Radio is our local community radio station and is based in Woodcock Road in Norwich. It is a ‘proper’ Ofcom licensed radio station with two studios which broadcasts on DAB and FM as well as smart speaker and online and frankly its a lovely place to spend time working with people of all ages, interests and backgrounds.

It has 4 staff but it is mainly manned by volunteers (including me) and they are looking at taking on a few more – not necessarily to actually speak on the radio but lots of other stuff including broadcast assistants, producers, production assistants, tea makers etc! They are currently especially recruiting people aged 55+ for the Future Radio Listener Panel, which listens to and reviews various Future Radio shows (usually around once a month).

If you think this might be of interest to you then either drop me a line or a call for a chat, or visit their website https://futureradio.co.uk/over55/
