NARC Morse Classes
.
Morse Classes.
Well, an anti-climax so far. Does anybody read this?
.
Malcolm G3PDH had zero in his advanced class
Roger G3LDI had zero in the beginner’s class.
.
Not a very inspiring start. However we will carry on in the hope that it might take time for people to realise that classes have actually started.
.
Please join whichever class you wish. The tutors will soon be able to say whether you need to move up or not so be prepared to be moved into another class. Students need some brain strain in order to improve so that is the reason.
.
I would stress here however that the Big P words come into play. If you do not practice you will NOT improve – simples! We would expect at least 30 minutes practice PER DAY from each student. There is no time limit on this so don’t worry if you are not moved up. The tutor will soon find out which class you should be attending.
.
Here is the list of expected students:
.
Sojan 2E0VWN raw beginner
Emma 2E0KFZ Beginner/possibly improver
Jimmy 2E0HBM Beginner
Steve Church raw beginner ( not even licenced yet! Really keen! )
David 2E0JGV Advanced up to 25wpm
Donard M0KRK Improver
Tracey 2E0CEY Improver
Steven M6KYF Improver
Tony M7NFK Raw beginner
Martin G7RXR Intermediate/advanced
Martyn G4VAO Intermediate/advanced
Andy G0OPR Intermediate
Stan G4BEW Advanced
Stephen M6KYF Intermediate
.
Hopefully some of you will show up pretty soon!
.
I did hear from David M9BLX as he now is and we had a good one to one QSO on 80m. We may have to change the day/time of the advanced class to cope.
.
We might be introducing a one-to-one QSO in order to improve your operating and rag-chewing ability. Some people are nervous and would benefit greatly from this. It will probably be on 80m with talk=back on 2 metres.
.
Here is the schedule:

73 de Roger, G3LDI roger@g3ldi.co.uk May the Morse be with you.
