Licensed in 1961 and worked as Merchant Navy RO followed by 37 years in Electronic Navigation Systems and Hydrographic Survey. Main interests are HF CW operation plus club based contest operating.
Whilst working and living abroad previous call signs were A9XBC in Bahrain and 9V1VZ from Singapore. Also Digital Data modes and use of computers with radio for contesting and general logging etc. Member of FOC & RNARS.
