TONIGHT! 19th November – NARC Live with Jim G3YLA on QRP

This content has been archived. It may no longer be relevant

Tonight on NARC Live our guest speaker is our very own Jim Bacon G3YLA with his presentation ‘QRP – it may just be the best grounding in amateur radio you can get!’

Jim will talk about his journey through the world of QRP over 55 years on the bands.  He will look at the rigs, antennas and events that can bring excitement to your operating.  It is possible that CW and homebrew will also come into the discussion.  Don’t let 5 watts frighten you, it encourages focus upon old craft skills which make amateur radio the rewarding pastime it truly is….

Before Jim’s talk we will feature your own news, stories, pictures and the solution to the latest ‘What on Earth…’ competition.

Please send your ‘What on earth…’ entry together with any news, pictures and views you can share for NARC Live! to radio@dcpmicro.com by 3pm latest on Wednesday please.

Would love some more What on Earth pictures for the competition please..

Please join Tammy M0TC and David G7URP live at 19.30 on BATC or Facebook – everyone welcome.
