Your Night at the Forum. YOU tell US what you want to see at the Club next year by way of talks, visits, guests, etc.

For our newly licensed amateurs who just passed their Foundation License Course the previous Saturday 31st August there is a special 'Getting you on Air' beginners workshop in the media studies room from 20.10 with John G3XLL
Don't just say something, sit there!  Better yet, Speak up, or you won't be able to complain.

Saturday/Sunday 7th/8th September
HF SSB FD. This year we are putting on two stations, one for a serious entry and the second for a training
station. Come and enjoy a weekend of SSB contesting. Be careful however! It IS addictive!  More details later.

Saturday and Sunday 21st and 22nd September
  Railways on the Air is now confirmed.  The organisers are Bob G7JTZ and Paul G3VPT  Please contact either regarding helping, operating etc. This event is hopefully going to have emphasis on the 1940s era as it
coincides with the 40s weekend. So, if you have clothes of that period, please dress up in them. There will be lots of others similarly dressed.

National Hamfest - NEWARK
It is hoped to run a coach up to Newark n the Friday. Further details will be posted as and when known.
