Rechargeable Lithium Cells

I have a substantial quantity of rechargeable lithium-ion cells that have been recovered from disposable vapes. They are great for making into packs for portable operation or projects which can either be charged with a dedicated Li-ion charger or a small BMS board. If you are unfamiliar with charging Li-ion cells/packs then please do ask since overcharging can be very risky. The cells themselves are all nominally 3.7V with only their capacity varying. To make up packs you must use matched capacity cells. Also be aware they can deliver significant current (which is why those little packs can start your dead car!).

Anyway, I’m offering them to any club member for a modest donation to the club charity fund(s). They cost me nothing but the rather stinky time and effort it takes me to get them out of the vapes and check the terminal voltage (>3V <4.2V otherwise they’re duff).

I have the following sizes (if you don’t understand the numbering system then please Google it). All with solderable terminals.

13330 360mAH/1.33Wh single end terminals; A few

13350 500mAH/1.85Wh Axial; 40 ish
18250 600mAH/2.2Wh Axial; 15ish
13400 550mAH/2.06Wh Axial; 15 ish

Generally the bigger the size, the larger the capacity.

I’m happy to bring any quantity to a club night or you can collect from NR10 by arrangement. It’s illegal to post them so please don’t ask.
