This piece is really on a personal note more than radio club, but I am quite often asked what my company DCP does and so if you are interested I will be giving a talk on the Train-Tech model railway electronics side of the business this coming Monday for the Norwich Engineering Society at the Holiday Inn on Ipswich Road in Norwich at 19.30. Non-members are welcome and you can find out more from the NES website:  http://www.engineeringsociety.co.uk/index.php

Whilst writing on personal issues I feel I should tell those of you who have been to my home or DCP for RadioActive, or indeed many other club events, that we lost our wonderful dog Bea just before Christmas. She had done really well at 17-18 years old (we had her 16 years) but she is a very sad loss and I am sure she will be missed at all the radio events, as well as head of security at DCP and the best companion we could every wish for.

This photo shows Bea at West Runton for Radio By The Seaside a few years ago.

Thank you for everything Bea x
