I wont lie, it was brand new, but free, so who wouldn't try it haha ! : )

One Run I'll be using for 2 metre, on HF, not used the Eco flex, much advantage over RG213 ?

yea I think I'll go for some more "known" cable

For 2m you want something with low loss. is this for a colinear antenna? westflex 103 maybe.but you could get better!

HF rg213 or rg58 would be fine.

I swap about whats down there, so I guess I would say Id run the highest common denominator, to allow for hf, or higher 2 metre, 70 cm etc... yep antenna a 2 /70 co linear and a Cushcraft R-9 HFbut things hack about when playing : )

ok, its all out, now was about to order new, but Barford this weekend, means I prob should wait ! chances of anyone having descent lengths of coax : )

Hi.
Do you have a dummy load? if so terminate the aerial end of the coax with it and then check the swr, with a dummy load it should be 1:1 regardless of frequency (within the operating frequency range of the dummy load in use) if it's still high then check the coax etc, if it's 1:1 then check the aerial in use.
