How do you keep pigeons off your antenna?!

John G4PFZ asks if you have any ideas to keep pigeons off the HF Beam! Two large ones perched on one of the elements today and managed to move it so it no longer lined up with the other elements. It seems the birds all love to perch on it! I’ve seen one suggestion of tying cable ties and leaving the tails facing upwards. Has anyone else got any ‘sensible’ ideas?

Do you have any tips or ideas for this? If so please drop them to us to This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it. and we will feature them on the next NARC Live!
