Spring Bootcamp.

This has now been arranged for Sunday April 29th. If you would like to attend, please email me and I will make a distribution list with full details which will be circulated well before that date. A rough idea is that it starts at 0900 local time and finishes around 1630 local time. Everybody welcome, whatever level, beginners to advanced.
So far we have seven booked in so get your fingers out if you wish to attend and email me ASAP

Maloclm G3PDH will be active during the month of April using the call G4FOC. He will be pleased to work as many locals as possible. He will be using all bands so do keep a look-out for him.

Another mention for CW OPS. It is a great club to join, with regular QSO parties every Wednesday, three events each day at different times.Take a look at their web site and see what you think of it. They also have a CW Academy and teach CW on line. You can join in that too, there are set courses running most of the time. All levels are welcome and this provides yet another place for learning Morse. One of the tutors is Stew, GW0ETF - seen in the picture below:

The GB2CW regular evening broadcasts will be taking a summer break at the end of April.

Tuesdays:
1000 - 1100 Coffee Break Morse with Chris G4CCX on 145.250MHz
1900 - 2000 Raw Beginners with Roger G3LDI on 145.250MHz
2000 - 2100 Intermediates with Jim G3YLA on 145.250MHz
Thursdays:
1000 - 1100 Coffee Break Morse with Chris G4CCX on GB3NB
2000 - 2100 Advanced Class with Malcolm G3PDH on the GB3NB Repeater.

The Tuesday class is well attended, as is the Thursday class on GB3NB.

Besides these schedules, it will also be possible to learn on line using Skype. Classes will be held using that medium in the near future. Let me know if you are interested. Les G0DFC is interested in this so keep an eye on this space and I will let you know when it has been set up.
